Exhibition Call Out

Sturt Gallery & Studio’s exhibition call out is now open – deadline 1st September 2023

Australia’s pioneering design centre, Sturt Gallery & Studios invites craftspeople, designers, and makers across a variety of mediums to propose new exhibitions for the dynamic new 2024/2025 exhibitions program. Innovative Australian ceramics, textiles, glass, jewellery and furniture are all of particular interest.

Sturt collaborates with talented artists to curate an extraordinary exhibition program celebrating contemporary craft true to our original founder’s principles of outstanding making inspired by nature.  Artists whose work is featured in the Sturt artistic program place their work in view of collecting institutions, business and industry, individual collectors and appreciative audiences. Sturt fosters innovation and excellence, supporting artists in their practice. Exhibitions selected for the Sturt artistic program will be supported by install and curatorial support, dynamic marketing collateral and promotion throughout our networks, a busy weekend opening with staff support, strongly attended artists talks, visitor services and more.

Exhibitions run for 6-7 weeks and cost $1,400.  Sturt Gallery takes 33.3% commission on artwork sold at the exhibition and all work must be for sale. Please complete the form below to submit an application.
