Due to safety of everyone and to comply with current NSW Government guidelines on COVID-19, we regret that on campus accommodation and meals will not be available.
Summer School Terms & Conditions
ENROLMENT
Enrolments are in order of application as class sizes are limited. Enrolments must be accompanied by full payment of the course fee and an enrolment form submission.
MINIMUM AGE
Students must be at least 16 for all adult classes. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult to stay in accommodation on site.
ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation is available for Summer School participants at Frensham, adjacent to Sturt. Accommodation is in boarding school rooms, i.e. single bed, cupboard, desk, lamp and wastepaper bin, heating but no air conditioning. All linen (sheets, towels, pillowslips) is provided. You are encouraged to bring your own blankets or doona. Blankets are available for those travelling by public transport if requested. Bedroom doors are not lockable. Some rooms have a lockable cupboard (a small padlock may be useful). There are facilities for washing, ironing and drying and computer access to the school’s wireless network. Single rooms are available as are twin share with share bathrooms (separate male and female).
OPTIONS: Five nights from Sunday evening to lunchtime Friday: single $750 and twin share $655; four nights from lunch on Monday to lunchtime Friday: single $625 and twin share $550. Participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult if they are living in residence during the Winter School. Children under 12 pay $55 per night.
The cost of accommodation includes all meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
MEALS
Meals are served in the Dining Room at Frensham (breakfast, lunch and dinner). We may be able to cater for meat, gluten and dairy free diets. We will contact you regarding your dietary request.
Lunches for day students
Tea, coffee and morning tea are provided near each workshop. Lunches are available for day students from the Dining Room and must be ordered at the time of enrolment. Occasional dinners and breakfasts may also be ordered. Lunch is provided for children enrolled in Children’s Courses.
CANCELLATION AND PAYMENTS
All payments are made through Sturt Shop and can be made online or in person by credit card, eftpos, cash, cheque or money order. You may also fax, post or email your enrolment. Sturt Shop is open seven days, 10am-5pm. Online enrolment is by credit card only; for cancellation, please contact Sturt Shop on 02 4860 2083.
Sturt reserves the right to cancel a class if minimum enrolments are not reached by 20 November 2020 or for circumstances beyond our control. Students will be offered placements in their 2nd or 3rd choice, or a refund of all fees. Students cancelling before 20 November will incur a $150 cancellation fee. No refunds of any course fee will be given for cancellations after 20 November 2020. Fees for accommodation, materials and meals will be fully refunded if cancelled before 11 December. No refunds for accommodation, materials or meals will be given for cancellations after 11 December 2020.
