Sturt is part of Frensham Schools. Operated by Winifred West Schools Ltd and located in Mittagong, the Frensham Schools network is made up of three campuses:

FRENSHAM (Est. 1913)

Frensham - Boarding & Day School for Girls

An outward-looking and forward-thinking secondary boarding and day school, Frensham is one of Australia's most respected independent schools for girls. Staff work as a highly professional team, taking time to consider and support the growth of each individual student.

Located on 178 hectares in Mittagong, Frensham is a mix of historic and state-of-the-art school buildings and sporting facilities. STURT (Est. 1941)

Located adjacent to Frensham campus and with an extensive annual education program, Sturt creates opportunities for people of all ages and skill levels to meaningfully hone their creative and technical abilities across a variety of art and design mediums.

The Sturt School for Wood is internationally renowned and produces some of Australia’s finest woodworkers and furniture makers through its flagship, MSF40222 Certificate IV in Furniture Design and Manufacturing. Sturt School also offers annual residential Winter and Summer Schools, weekly term classes and short/weekend courses in specialist areas.

As part of its residency program, Sturt brings the best artists and teachers from Australia and around the world to work in Sturt Studios and deliver its highly sought-after educational programs.

Sturt Gallery presents an annual program of professional exhibitions. The Shop promotes the work of more than 300 Australian contemporary artists, designers and makers in ceramics, fine furniture, glass, jewellery, leather, textiles, wood and more.
