| Life Before Sturt |
I am a teacher and student I have spent much of the last decade finishing a PhD. I fell in love with woodwork doing short 'Woodwork for Women' courses in Mullumbimby with Pat Gregory. When not working or studying or making fine furniture I was swimming and hiking around Byron Bay.

| Designing and Making Philosophy | 'Slat Noir' My work this year has involved slatted wood and
repeated elements.

| Life After Sturt | Back to work and longer term I have dreams of a woodworking
shed in the hills around Mullumbimby.

| Best and Worst Experence | I love Steam Bending - it is just amazing to see solid wood go
like cooked spaghetti and take up the shape I desire. I hate those one
millimetre short days!
